THINGS WE FROTH: BLEEDING KNEES CLUB’S SHOW AT THE NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB

Posted on: April 23rd, 2012 by iohyou No Comments

On Saturday our boys Bleeding Knees Club headlined the Northcote Social Club, Dune Rats are Drunk Mums supported – shit sold out during the week. It was hands down the best show I’ve been to all year, it made me feel like I did when I was 15 and used to and see Kisschasy and Horsell Common at The Embassy Hotel in Penrith. Mad community vibe going down, everyone dressing up, crowd surfing from the start, home made banners…all that shit. Check out some of the videos and photos below.

Crazy props to all those who attended and thanks for reminding us that the scene still exists!

DZ DEATHRAYS – NO SLEEP & BLOODSTREAMS TRAILER

Posted on: March 28th, 2012 by iohyou No Comments

DZ Deathrays have been crazy busy. The boys just returned to Australia after selling out their London residency at the Old Blue Last, selling out in NYC with TRUST (Canada) and playing with acts like Andrew WK, Spank Rock, Dan Deacon, Chairlift and Blood Orange at SXSW.

A little while ago we thought it’d be funny to recreate Paul Simon and Chevy Chase’s film clip for “You Can Call Me Al” – so we did the first single from their debut album “Bloodstreams”. It’s a track called “No Sleep”.
