Charles Murdoch has been honing his sound around the traps for a few years now. He first turned heads with his excellent 2013 remix of Flume’s ‘Sleepless’ and has continued to evolve ever since, merging bass, house and delicate electronica in spectacular fashion. Ahead of his debut LP Point, due out on Future Classic on December 11, Murdoch has shon with previous singles ‘Straws’ and ‘Frogs’ and now gives us ‘Privacy’, featuring Oscar Key Sung. The track is an impressive exploration of churning electronica, creating elevated moods that contrast spectacularly with Key Sung’s soulful vocals that sit high in the mix. By the end, there’s almost nothing left. OKS’s vocals are completely dehumanised and you’re left in awe, wondering where the last 5m40secs went.

Point is released on December 11th via Future Classic.
