Melbourne’s Slum Sociable made a considerable splash with the release of their debut single ‘Anyway’ back in January along with their breakout performance at Sugar Mountain. A few months down the track and the mysterious duo are continuing to make waves both at home and abroad ahead of the announcement of their EP release, and yesterday celebrated the premiere of their first official video. The Danny Cohen directed clip straddles the line between weird and wonderful, with interpretative dance and colours providing nuance to the music itself – a decidedly fresh mix of interchanging dub, psych, jazz and glitch elements gain further clarity and it’s easy to see that these guys are set for big, big things.
