Sydney three-piece Black Vanilla today released an excellent brand new single titled ‘Slug’. The project has long acted as an intersecting point for its members, who in addition to Black Vanilla, contribute their expansive creative output to Collarbones, Cassius Select, Marseilles and Guerre to name a few. BV has been a fertile ground for a vast mix of styles ranging from UK garage, evasive late night techno and menacing rap thus far and if you’ve yet to see a live show, make sure to catch them when they next hit your city – trust us. Whispers of a new mixtape are circling, but for now we’ve got this – a menacing journey through complete and utter darkness and unforgiving lyricism.
