It was late last week when we first heard the new Disclosure track ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn’, and we’ve since experienced a newly reignited excitement for the UK brotherly duo’s forthcoming debut album ‘Settle’. Having slightly lost faith in the pair’s ability to continue in making fresh sounding, deep UK Garage and House tunes with crossover hit ‘Latch’, the return single marks a welcome change in direction which is reminiscent of the ‘Carnival/I Love…That You Know’ release. The track has an undeniable pulse to it with an unforgettable vocal hook. ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn’ holds a rich and captivating blend of styles and an impressive percussion set which isn’t trying to do too much. The debut album is set to feature a bevy of guest vocalists including Ed MacFarlane (Friendly Fires), Jessie Ware, AlunaGeorge and Jamie Woon. We await with bated breath!
