In the lead-up to the release of I Love You, Honeybear, Father John Misty has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman to perform his new single ‘Bored in the USA’. The brilliant performance highlights FJM’s lyrical honesty and delivery with the aid of a strings section and cameos from a self-playing piano and built in laughing track. At times bizarre, yet uplifting and every bit as engaging as the now famed Future Islands performance earlier this year. This album is truly shaping up to be a cracker.
