We’ve given this one a few spins today and it just keeps getting better. Liam Parsons and Stefan Blair are two guys out of sunny Melbourne who make brilliant and refined guitar pop music. On this their first official release under the Good Morning guise, the duo have crafted a 7-track which holds everything from the shimmering ‘Time To Try Again’ to the nostalgia-inducing ‘Don’t Come Home Today’, reminiscent of a more introverted, Eltham-based Mac Demarco circa Salad Days. Shawcross is bursting with ideas and wonderful sounds, it doesn’t linger too long but manages to leave a lasting impression with each track. Don’t sleep on it.
