The Mac is back! Just over a year ago, Mac Demarco released his hypnotising Salad Days LP and it’s safe to say we’ve been yearning for more ever since. ‘The Way You’d Love Her’ is the first single from Mac’s forthcoming mini LP titled Another One and signals an organic return to his blissed out brand of guitar pop. Whilst the production on the single feels much more polished than many of his prior releases, ‘The Way You’d Love Her’ employs an excellent use of space to punctuate his signature, winding detuned guitars and those now instantly recognisable vocals to create something that surges in waves. Mesmerising stuff.
