Fans of I’lls and Kllo will be more than familiar with the musical stylings of Melbourne’s Simon Lam. As a producer and vocalist, Lam has been a massive influence on the local underground electronic landscape for some time now, and with his project Nearly Oratorio, it’s easy to hear an unchained sense of creative freedom that permeates each lush harmony. An exercise in the extrapolation of pop music’s most core elements, ‘Tin’ is something to be held and revered, undoubtedly.
