It’s been a fruitful few weeks for fans of Oscar Key Sung, following a slew of incredible ‘All I Could Do’ remixes from the likes of Naysayer and Gilsun, Black Vanilla and Naminé – today marked the release of his new single ‘Holograms’. The single was given the immediate nod for a Pitchfork premiere and takes a step into a more serene and calm territory than the previously mentioned ‘All I Could Do’. It’s a perfect blend of earthy analogue sounds and warm percussion which provides Oscar with the chance to place his vocals at the top of the mix – a sound which holds a comfortable sense of familiarity whilst drawing a clear and distinct style which hits in all the right places.
Two Bright Lakes will release the Holograms EP on March 3rd.
Oscar Key Sung plays Boney in Melbourne on Feb 14th.
(All other states will have to wait, but we promise it’ll be worth it.)
