Today we’re featuring Portland band Rare Monk and their latest offering ‘Warning Pulse’ – the first track lifted from a forthcoming self-titled EP. Hearty grooves and winding guitars set the scene for one of the more uplifting tracks in recent memory. Whilst sonically there are comparisons with Sydney outfit Cloud Control, this single pushes on into fresh territory with soulful vocals and terrific dream pop sensibilities that create something holistic and addictive.
