Today we feature an incredible but unlikely collaboration; Kele from Bloc Party and Western Australian young gun Sable have teamed up to create our featured track titled ‘The One’. Coming together for the Jack Daniel’s Australia #JDFutureLegends campaign, the song was created in Perth in the days following Circo Festival earlier this year. It’s a unique mix of two disparate styles, The One successfully draws on Sable’s signature brand of bouncy and melodic sounds whilst also casting a light back to Kele’s first solo record The Boxer and indeed the recent, more club-ready material from his Crosstown Rebels Candy Flip EP. We’ve got a feeling it won’t be the last we hear from both artists in the remaining months of 2014. Stay tuned.
