LISTEN: Shrapnel – Print and Sign
Today we feature a release from a Sydney musician named Sam Wilkinson. Straight outta Marrickville, this guy plays with other prolific acts including but not limited to Day Ravies and Mortuary. This single ‘Print and Sign’ is the first taste from a full length cassette release called ‘Tobacco Dreams’ which is out in early April. ‘Print and Sign’ is a left of centered guitar pop gem which uses a really great contrast between crisp guitars and low fi vocal sounds to play off one another, as a hollow percussive line keeps things boiling away nicely.
