Portland (via NZ) outfit Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared yet another take from their forthcoming LP Multi Love. Picking up where the title track left off, new single ‘Can’t Keep Checking My Phone’ continues to navigate through a plethora of kaleidoscopic sounds reminiscent of golden era 60’s pop in addition to future r&b, and brings an assured vocal set, providing a new found depth and subtlety to the band’s sonic output. This one will be receiving some high rotation in the office – we have a sneaking suspicion it’ll be a grower.
