Melbourne outfit World’s End Press have wasted little time since the release of their highly anticipated debut record in late 2013. After a slew of headline dates, festival appearances and support slots for the likes of Bloc Party, Phoenix and plenty more, the 4-piece are back with their cutting new single ‘Spirals’. Perhaps more at home in the club than your bedroom, Spirals transposes the bubbling, more club centric elements of the past WEP sound and brings them to the forefront without losing their signature live percussive element. Vocalist John Parkinson is a real point of difference to earlier material on this one – a new set of tones provide that brilliant sense of texture and creates an ominous feel that undoubtedly resonates far beyond the track’s completion. File this into the summer playlist and get going. We know we will be. They’ll also be on tour in support of the single – details below.
