Flight Tonight is the project of Melbourne’s Edo Rafter. So far in the story we have seen the release of two EP’s (one of them a B-side edits style EP released on Melbourne’s own Bossman Records) which seamlessly blend down-tempo R’n’b, UK garage and even house elements to create a truly unique and captivating sound. The latest single ‘Lines (Ft. Leure)’ has delivered one of the more sombre moments for the FT project and the latest video, shot and directed in Tokyo by Michael Danischewski, adds yet another dimension. The video is a moving insight into the organized chaos of Tokyo city life – the incredible texture of the visuals depicting daily life, transport and scenery mesh seamlessly with the track itself and doesn’t stray from the already polished FT aesthetic. We’re psyched to see what 2013 holds for Flight Tonight!
