The final stop on the debut Australian Boiler Room tour found a home at Melbourne’s Bottom End on Sunday 27th of January, 2013. Boasting a wide array of DJs and live acts, the event saw local heroes ranging from Cut Copy Dj’s, Zanzibar Chanel, Roland Tings, Tornado Wallace and Naysayer and Gilsun hitting the live stream to provide a taste of what the city has to offer. Naysayer and Gilsun in particular provided a much talked about show which weaved through a dynamic set of genres, perhaps foreshadowing what’s to come later in 2013 with an already overdue EP on Bossman Records waiting in the wings. The stellar 60 minute live mix, which was released last week, cuts in and out of the crowd noise to provide some contrast and indication of the crowd reaction (which sounded amazing).
