When I was at SXSW I had the pleasure of seeing a band from the UK called Jonquil who basically play a type of ‘jungle pop’ I guess….or as others have quoted ‘Paul Simon’s take on The Smiths’. Basically they’re fucking awesome and you should listen to them. They’ve toured with Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club, if you like either of those bands….chances are you’ll like Jonquil.
