Alison Wonderland has been one of the more prolific up and coming artists in recent times, and so we’re super excited to give a friend of the blog some much deserved praise! From huge festival slots to SXSW, she has been busy (to say the least) over the last year or so, and we are thrilled to finally hear the debut release ‘Get Ready’. This first release under the Alison Wonderland moniker, helped by Fishing, was always going to be a statement; anybody who has seen a DJ performance would know that there is no one category which can encapsulate the array of genres which interest her. The track incorporates and harmonizes elements of trap, hip hop and subtle electronica seamlessly, whilst the feature from Fishing adds raw tone and high energy to the piece. This is a track which has blown us away with it’s superb production and energy. This one is built for dancing and we can’t wait to experience it at the forthcoming Splendour in the Grass show which will see Alison’s return for a second consecutive year.
