FROTH OF THE DAY: BONNAZ – SHAOLIN

If you enjoy a drunken freestyle battle with your mates or know someone who can genuinely spit fire on a chilled, downtempo beat, give Bonnaz’s new album a go. Each track on Clouds is short- lived lasting just long enough for you to relax your body and drift into a mellow trance while your head rests peacefully within the title of the album. Undoubtedly drawing influence from the Wu with the distinctive scratchy vocal samples scattered throughout and the title of the first track ‘Shaolin’, the Melbourne producer’s hip -hop instrumentals will make you bob your head to the ambient beats. Listen below as Thamson.P adds his two cents on the tail end of the BeaTape in ‘Chapters’.
