It should go without saying how much we like these guys. Seriously, have you read this blog in the last year? Bully’s debut album has been preceded by some stellar singles in ‘Milkman’ and ‘Trying’ just to name a few, but now we get the chance to hear Alicia Bognanno & co in full length form and it does not disappoint. From the couple of spins I’ve heard of this record today, it’s immediately clear that Feels Like is an effort that’s been coming a long time and is still very true to the sonic direction of their earliest releases. Moments of pure grit and punk mayhem sit effortlessly next to guitar driven pop mammoths that indeed compliment each other, building a rich story and inciting the listener to hang on every pivotal, often gut-wrenching moment. It’s too early to say much more, but take it from us that Feels Like is an album deserves your time. Trust us.
