Melbourne trio I’lls have been favourites of ours for quite some time now; their emotive, constantly evolving brand of electronica never fails to impress and consistently promotes the feeling that there’s a bigger artistic vision in the works, building piece by piece. ‘Let Me Have Just One’ is the first single from their forthcoming EP Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country and the official video, directed by Sangkhara, is a warped and hypnotic trip into the tonally expansive nature of the song. Shot on VHS and processed through video synths, mirrors, reprojected onto fabric and recaptured through water, there’s an eerie feeling to soundtrack the immense push and pull – a living and breathing visual/sonic relationship to utterly command the senses.
