Sydney-based artist BUOY gives us our featured tune today, with her breathtaking latest single ‘Exit’. This one is a cut from her sophomore EP and it’s easy to hear why BUOY’s brand of left-of-centre pop has had people talking over the last little while. True to prior form, Exit evolves into something much more than a one-dimensional slice of ethereal pop; it blurs the lines between r&b and UK garage whilst building to something that feels almost impossibly inescapable. Vocally, this one is a real standout from her swelling back catalogue. Definitely one to look for in a few end of year lists!
