Hailing from the West Coast port city of Fremantle, whose creative soil has birthed up Tame Impala and fellow Pilerats Records signees Koi Child, Hideous Sun Demon are a band that conjure up the classic punk gods of yore, whilst channelling something altogether wild and futuristic. There’s a broad array of influences at play with these guys – you can hear bombastic 70’s pub rock, contoured by nu-metal and straight up pop moments, all in the blink of an eye. Bad Girl is an assault on the senses that chews its listener up and spits them out repeatedly. We hear the live show is an absolute cracker, too.
