We always try to feature something a little slower and perhaps something more contemplative on Mondays, and today is no exception. Recording exclusively for WNYC’s Soundcheck program, Chet Faker yesterday delivered a stirring rendition of his track ‘I’m Into You’, from his 2012 EP Thinking in Textures. The recording is a stripped back version which places emphasis on the interplay between Faker’s soulful vocals and deep emotive keys in a way that shines a different light onto the original. This caps off a busy couple of weeks for Chet Faker, having recently released the Lockjaw EP with Flume in the final lead-up for the Falls Festivals at the end of the year around the country.
