LISTEN: Foreign/National – Paris
Melbourne five-piece Foreign/National are our featured artist today, providing us with some killer psych-pop with their track, ‘Paris’. We hadn’t heard of these guys before, but after hearing these masterful arrangements and patient, nostaliga inducing melodies, we were immediately taken. Whilst at times sounding familiar, ‘Paris’ manages to effectively use those same elements to provide a driving sound which references whilst creating something unique and fresh. ‘Paris’ marks the lead single from a forthcoming EP and the whilst the band only has one live date currently planned, you can bet on some more summer dates coming soon.
