Four Tet (AKA Kieran Hebden) dropped into Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space program on WNYU yesterday for a brief interview and hour long mix. The pair spoke about the recent Atoms for Peace remix of ‘Pyramid’, Hebden’s decision to take a break from remixing and also his current status of being “deep into” a new full length LP. It’s interesting to note that this was the third time the adept producer has played the show, marking a captivating insight into some potential influences of the future including some “hot new promos”. The mix itself delivered an eclectic range of genres which included tracks from the likes of Prince, Jai Paul, Pearson Sound, Joy O & Boddika and new Young Turks recruit Koreless.
