Today’s feature track ‘IGOTU’ is the latest from Melbourne’s Hoodlem – and we’ve had it on repeat all day. There’s very little information to be had on Hoodlem (aside from the fact that they recently covered ‘N sync), but what we do know is that the project is all about unrestrained pop music which is informed by delicate electronica. IGOTU is a perfect example of how the sporadic nature of the UK garage genre can be used to play so well into a dramatic, brooding vocal set. Deep stuff..Happy weekend listening.
