I don’t want to scare you off by using the phrase ‘art collective’ too soon, but that’s exactly what today’s featured artist, Jungle, exists as. Not much is known about this duo except that it’s made up by two figures from West London who go only by the names of J and T. Aside from assuming complete creative control over their (rather amazing) videos, Jungle have managed to retain a sense of complete anonymity in the face of intense hype off of the back of their first singles. Today’s feature track ‘The Heat’ is informed by elements of funk, 90’s RnB, disco and soul music and sounds like the perfect soundtrack to any summer evening. Believe the hype!
