Teaming up with director Jamie-James Medina, prolific UK artist King Krule today released his stunning visual accompaniment for ‘A Lizard State’, the newest single from debut LP ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon’. On this video, the director along with Archy Marshall paired up delve one step deeper into their favorite topic of conversation: Alfred Hitchcock films. In order to secure the rights to the introduction which can be heard at the beginning, they sought and secured approval from the estate of Mr. Hitchcock and the results are eerily fitting for how we imagined the track to take shape. With a tonally matched aesthetic, this lopsided and dreary voyage sees KK literally bouncing off the walls as the fray of washed out jazz undertones is kept at bay only by those signature vocals. If we weren’t already excited to finally see him in action at Laneway, consider the office in a state of fever pitch.
