King Krule is this week’s feature artist on a new 8-part web series titled ‘Church of Nobody’, created by Chicago’s Willis Earl Beal. Following on from week 1 which featured Willis himself, Archy Marshall AKA King Krule stepped into the studio to record a candid three track session which included ‘A Lizard State’, ‘Border Line’ and ‘Out Getting Ribs’- all tracks which featured on his stunning debut LP ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon’ from earlier this year. The session is a short, stripped back insight into the live show which King Krule will be bringing down for the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival tour early next year, and highlights his abilities with intricate guitar work and the adaptation of the lyrical nuances heard on the album. In addition to this, Marshall speaks candidly of the persona he adopts when writing the material, some of which he touched on in our interview earlier this year.
