LISTEN: Klo – Make Me Wonder
Today, we excitedly bring you the debut single titled ‘Make Me Wonder’ from Melbourne cousins Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul – AKA Klo. The project is a stylistic departure from Lam’s other project I’lls (another favorite of ours) but instantly draws the listener in with the same level of concise production and stark, contrasting tones. Make Me Wonder is built to nurture a sense of burning desire and lust, each verse slowly makes way for Kaul’s vocals in a way which never pulls too much away from the interplay between carefully chosen lyrics and the reassuring repetitious melody. Klo may well have delivered the most endearing debut single we’ve heard in a while, there’s certainly an unmistakable chemistry present – definitely one to keep an ear out for in 2014.
