This one hit our inbox about an hour ago and we’re digging it already. Melbourne band Pip-Eye impress on their debut single ‘People Move Along’, a nuanced ode to social sterility (no, not the Napalm Death song) and relationships in flux. They’ve just officially signed on to Flightless ahead of the release for their debut EP Cosmic Blip. Speaking of the EP, the band say it was “Composed on space station Mirus 4 as a collaboration between scientists from the international space community, Cosmic Blip is an expedition cataloging the effects of space melody and cosmic rhythm whilst in close orbit to Earth.” Whatever that means.
Pipe-Eye – Cosmic Blip is out Friday 25 September 2015 via Flightless / Remote Control Records.
