After making some serious waves back in 2011 with the release their eponymous debut album, Royal Headache have since left their fans wanting more. Now, in 2015, it’s safe to say with a sigh of relief and a welling of anticipation that they’re back in the form of their career thus far. Released in June, the title track to their brand new LP High grabbed us with its big, bold intent and stunning execution; a real showstopper. We’ve only had our hands on it for a few hours and it’s already dominating the office stereo. RH’s High is undoubtedly a record that basks in the creation of perfectly imperfect pop music – it’s set to make a huge impact on the Australian musical landscape of 2015.
Royal Headache will release their new LP High on August 21st via What’s Your Rupture? Our leave for that day has been approved.
