Back in 2011, Sydney outfit Royal Headache released their eponymous debut album, and ever since then, their reputation has well and truly preceded them. Cut to 2015 and the band are back with their latest single ‘High’, the first taste of a forthcoming LP by the same name – it’s big, bold, and pulls you right back in to the world of RH immediately. There’s no time to waste with this single, that gritty lead guitar winds hypnotically into just over 2 minutes of perfectly imperfect pop music, a brilliant ode to an anguishing sense of longing and displacement.
