Melbourne band Tiny Little Houses had a stellar start to their week, releasing new single ‘Easy’, the first track from their forthcoming debut EP. Easy wastes no time in creating a sense of effortless warmth as flourishing instrumentation cascades across sparse arrangements. Lyrically, the song deals with an untimely breakup during a date at Luna Park – unrequited love has seemingly frayed things to the point of blinding pain and angst. One of the most distinguishable things about this track is the delivery of ‘it’s not hell, but it’s not easy’ in the chorus. It’s a wildly endearing moment from a track we’re glad we’re super glad to have stumbled across, no doubt!
‘Easy’ live launch details:
July 31 – Waywards at the Bank, Sydney
August 8 – Hugs & Kisses, Melbourne
