Röyksopp are our featured artist today, bringing their b-side ‘Something In My Heart (Feat. Jamie Irrepressible) which marks their first release since 2011! It’s a stripped back piece of pop brilliance which features Jamie McDermott of cult orchestral pop ensemble, The Irrepressibles. As the track ebbs and flows through finely constructed electronic arrangements, there’s a distinct element of soul which warms the track and seeps from the vocals. Overall, this is a fresh and melodic sound which marks a serious progression for the ever amazing Röyksopp and from what we hear, there’s plenty more in store for this unique collaboration.
