Today on the blog we feature Thumpers, with their latest single ‘Unkinder (A Tougher Love)’. Having released their debut studio album Galore on Sub Pop earlier this year, the duo have wasted no time in making a name for themselves with their ecstatic live shows which have undoubtedly taken cues from their past roles in both Noah & The Whale and Friendly Fires’ live shows. Believe us, they played at our SXSW party earlier this year. Unkinder is an assured dream pop song which has the same kind of feel to St. Lucia whilst retaining it’s own identity: a gradual progression ushers in dual vocal lines which truly soar above the organised chaos beneath.
