Melbourne pop heroes World’s End Press and Client Liaison have teamed up for a collaboration as the third and final installment of the Adidas Originals series. The collaboration succeeds in bringing together these two very distinct styles which intertwine to create a warm, surging disco-funk number that is buoyed by alternating vocals from WEP’s John Parkinson and CL’s Monte Morgan. It’s a refreshing and exciting chance to hear the results of the creative process, reportedly inspired by “early 90s television drama, and dreams of champagne and caviar”. Ease into the weekend with this jam, we certainly are.
