As things wind up for 2015, we figured it’d be fitting to have our I OH YOU roster put together some of the songs that have helped shape their respective years. For our second instalment, we’ve got our girl Montgomery bringing a diverse list of songs from at home and abroad. Enjoy..

Beach House – Sparks

2015 birthed 2 great albums from Beach House making it a top contender for year of the decade.

Buoy – Don’t Want To See You

Whole EP is killer!

Carly Rae Jepsen – All That

I think this album is really well done and some great people worked on it

EL VY – Need A Friend

Very into this new project that emerged from Matt Berninger

Grimes – REALiTi

This Demo was huge, maybe even more than the Album edit

Owen Rabbit – Holy Holy

Big fan of this guy

METRIC – The Shade

I have a soft spot for Metric and love what they do

Charli XCX – Famous

I find Charli really intriguing and this year she released something pretty left of field but stilled smashed it big time

Wolf Alice – Freazy

Love this band. Love this Album. Love this clip.

David Bowie – Blackstar

And finally this year We got this weird ass video from Davey Bows

I OH YOU: What are you looking forward to in 2016?

Montgomery: This year was cool but the things I’m most excited for in 2016 would be the aforementioned Blackstar Album, keen to see what happens there, and the new The Jezabels album. Annnnnnnnnd I’m looking forward to putting out something new next year. There’s a whole bunch of new music and artists coming out as always which will be fun.
