Lomelda is an artist you’ll want to get acquainted with if you’re into the kinds of sounds Frankie Cosmos, Dannika et al. produce. I don’t know a whole lot about her, but ‘Interstate Vision’ is an understated beauty. Unassuming guitars strum around poetic lyrics, creating a sunny, melancholic soundscape. And although this is a simple sounding creation, Lomelda’s vocals hold attention, and offer a powerful centerpiece for its surrounding instrumentation. Nothing more to say really. It’s a beautiful track, and is well worth a listen to bring some light into your mediocre lives.
