Despite the fact that this track isn’t brand new, we couldn’t help but go searching for Alta’s material after catching their amazing live show last weekend. The Melbourne alt-tronica/trip-hop/experimental duo made waves with their debut ‘Stay Awhile’ EP and have continued to tour heavily, building a well deserved reputation for their frenetic and well textured live performances. Today we bring you ‘Stepping Out’, a piece which employs subtle left of field electronica and cutting percussion in tandem with vocalist Hannah Lesser, whose softly sung vocals and surging harmonies shine.
