Arcade Fire gave Brooklyn yet another reason to brag this weekend, playing a secret show to 1800 ecstatic fans. Billed cheekily as ‘The Reflektors’, the band were introduced by producer/ex LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy on the wrong stage at first, causing chaos as the $500-a-head crowd ran to the other side of the shelled out
299 Meserole Street in Brooklyn to gain a spot. The set ran for 9 songs which was predominantly made up of new material and the band reportedly delivered a flawless performance whilst continuing to build the hype on their forthcoming fourth album, a double LP which is available later this month. You can check out a video of the show beneath, or alternatively check out the amazing official film clip which wasn’t filmed on a camera phone.
